Gaokan town
Gaokan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dashiqiao City, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Dashiqiao City. It is connected with Huzhuang town in the East and Southeast, Laobian District in the south, Shuiyuan town in the southwest, Gouyan town in the west, Shifo town in the northwest, Qikou town in the north and northeast, with an administrative area of 153 square kilometers.
Before liberation, it belonged to Haicheng County; in April 1984, Gaokan township was changed into town, which belonged to Yingkou County; in November 1992, Yingkou county was changed into Dashiqiao City, which belonged to Dashiqiao City. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Gao Kan was 51554. As of June 2020, Gaokan town has one community and 25 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Gaokan town was 210 million yuan, an increase of 12% over the previous year. Among them, local fiscal revenue was 110 million yuan, an increase of 11% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 11185 yuan. In 2018, there were 102 industrial enterprises in Gaokan Town, including 5 above scale enterprises and 109 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Before liberation, it belonged to Haicheng county.
In April 1946, Yingkou county was established and put under the jurisdiction of Yingkou county.
In October of 1947, Yingkou still belonged to the county.
In June 1950, Gaokan district changed its name to five districts, still belonging to Yingkou county.
In August 1955, Gaokan district was restored in the six districts, and the subordinate relationship remained unchanged.
In March 1956, Gaokan district was abolished and merged into Huzhuang district.
In August 1957, the territory and some villages in Qikou town were designated by Huzhuang and Gaokan district was re established. The territory belongs to Yingkou county.
In February 1958, Gaokan district was abolished and Gaokan township was set up, and its subordinate relationship remained unchanged; in September of the same year, Gaokan township was changed into Gaokan commune, and its subordinate relationship remained unchanged.
In September 1983, the township system was restored, belonging to Yingkou county.
In April 1984, Gaokan township was transformed into a town, belonging to Yingkou county.
In November 1992, Yingkou county was changed into Dashiqiao City, belonging to Dashiqiao City.
