Yushi street, belonging to the West urban area of Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of the West urban area, adjacent to Shengli Street in the East, Qinghua street in the southeast, Desheng street in the south, east coast of Bohai Sea in the West and Daliao River in the north, with a total area of 9.18 square kilometers.
During the period of puppet Manchukuo, there were three districts in the West: Taikang, Tonghui and Hebei, which belonged to Taikang district. In July 1956, Yushi street was established. In 1968, it was changed into Weidong commune. In April 1981, Yushi street was restored. At the end of 2011, the total population of Yushi street was 34013. As of June 2020, Yushi street has five communities under its jurisdiction.

History of construction
During the period of the puppet Manchukuo, there were three regions in the West: Taikang, Tonghui and Hebei.
In 1946, the Kuomintang adopted the district system of the puppet Manchu period.
On February 25, 1948, Yingkou was liberated and the old system was abolished. The whole city was divided into five districts, which belonged to the prosperous people's government.
In August 1949, xichaogou police station, Fanrong police station and housheng police station were located in this area.
At the beginning of 1950, Yingkou was the third people's Government of Yingkou.
In July 1956, Yushi street was established.
In 1968, it was changed into Weidong commune.
