Bieshan town
Bieshan town is subordinate to Jizhou District of Tianjin. Located in the southeast of Jizhou District, bordering Yutian County, Hebei Province, the town covers an area of 51 square kilometers. 50 administrative villages with a permanent population of 36378 (2017). It got its name because it was close to other mountains in the north. Qingchi site shows that it is one of the earliest areas of human activities. In April 1956, a large number of ancient tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty were found in the town by cultural and historical experts.
History of construction
In 1953, it was established in bieshan township.
In 1958, it was changed into a commune.
In 1983, it was changed to bieshan township.
On December 29, 1994, with the approval of the municipal government, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau agreed to abolish bieshan Township and establish bieshan town.
Original Cuiping Mountain Township
In 1953, it was divided into districts 1, 6 and 10.
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into cuipingshan township.
In 1958, the commune management area was changed.
In 1962, the commune was established.
In 1983, it was changed to cuipingshan township.
On December 25, 1995, with the approval of the municipal government, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau agreed to abolish cuipingshan Township and establish cuipingshan town.
In 2001, cuipingshan town was abolished and merged into bieshan town. The office of the town government was located at the former site of bieshan town government.
