Dachuantou Town, which belongs to Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Bohai town in the East, Kuandian town and shihugou town in the south, guanshui town in the west, bahechuan town and niumaowu town in the north, with an administrative area of 277.98 square kilometers.
In 1929, dachuantou village was set up; by June 2020, dachuantou town had seven administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 1998, dachuantou township was set up as a town. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the town of Sichuan was 10414. As of June 2020, dachuantou town has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.

In 1929, dachuantou village was established.
In 1945, dachuantou district was established.

In May 1951, it was changed into District 11.
In 1955, it was classified as Jiapigou district.
In 1956, dachuantou township was set up, belonging to Qingyi mountain area.
In 1958, it became Jiapigou commune.
In 1961, dachuantou commune was established.
In 1983, it was renamed dachuantou township.
In 1998, dachuantou township was replaced by township.
