Chengguan Township is located in the suburb of Yiyang County, with Jinping Mountain in the south, Luohe River in the north, Fengli in the East and Lianzhuang in the West. Zhenglu Road, Yigu road and Yibai Road pass through the area, and Luoyi branch line of Longhai Railway starts from Gaoqiao village. There are Lingshan temple, an ancient temple in Zhongzhou, known as "sister Temple" of Baima temple, and Qianfo temple, a key cultural relics protection unit at the provincial level.
The township has 15 administrative villages, 135 villager groups and a permanent population of 38000. The township party committee manages one general Party branch, 27 party branches and 979 party members. The total area is 76.5 square kilometers, and the cultivated area is 1640 hectares. With abundant water resources, Liji canal diverts Luoshui from west to East. It is rich in mineral resources, with an annual output of 1 million tons of raw coal and 1 million tons of quartz sand, forming two pillar industries of "one black and one white". There are 5 provincial and municipal factories and mines and more than 300 private enterprises in the area, forming such advantageous industries as edible oil, quartz sand, coal and building materials. Chengguan Township is located in the East and west of Chengguan town. It is located at 34 ° 33 ′ N and 111 ° 10 ′ E. Fengli, Fancun, Zhaobao and Lianzhuang are bordered on the East, West and south respectively. It faces xunchun and Liuquan townships across Luohe River in the north. Zhenglu highway passes through from west to East. Luoyi branch line of Jiaozhi railway runs through the eastern half. It is connected with Zhaobao, Baiyang and other places by highway. It covers an area of 76.5 square kilometers and has 18936 mu of cultivated land (including 7159 mu of irrigated land). Township government in the county, 195 meters above sea level. The terrain of the whole township is high in the South and low in the north. In the south, there are Banpo mountain, Jiguan mountain, Fenghuang mountain, Jinping Mountain, HuLong mountain, Shouan mountain and Hutou mountain. In the Ming Dynasty, fangerli belonged to fangkuobao; in the early Qing Dynasty, fanggaoli; after Qianlong, fangyili and fangerli belonged to Pingyin district. In 1927, it was changed into Chengguan District. In 1936, it was divided into the first district. In 1943, it was changed to Shouan township. During the period of 33-34 (1944-1945) of the Republic of China, Yiyang was occupied by the Japanese. The Japanese puppet government set up six townships (towns), and Chengguan was still Shouan township. At the beginning of liberation, it was Chengguan District of Yinan county. After the combination of Yinan and Yibei, it is divided into the first district (Chengguan District). In 1956, it was changed into Chengguan Central Township. It has jurisdiction over three general townships: Shicun, Ligou and Hexia. Chengguan people's commune was established in 1958. In 1983, it was renamed Chengguan Township. Now it has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, 133 villager groups, 73 natural villages, 7587 households and 35672 people. Among them, there are 148 ethnic groups including Hui, Meng, Yi, Zhuang, man and Bai, and the rest are Han nationality, with an average of 466 people per square kilometer and 0.53 mu of arable land per capita. the township has many rivers, few mountains, dense population, fertile land and many factories and mines. There are four reservoirs and two main canals (more than 25 kilometers in total in Yihua and Yiluo), with good economic conditions. The main crops are wheat, corn, beans, sweet potato, cotton, etc.

In the south of tielu, there is the tomb of luanba, the Minister of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and the tomb of Chen Youliang, the leader of the peasant uprising at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, in the Chen residence.
