Tangshan town
Tangshan town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhen'an District, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Zhen'an District, reaching loufang town in the East, gold street in the south, Chang'an Town in Donggang City, Bianmen town in Fengcheng City in the West and Dongtang town in Fengcheng City in the north, with an administrative area of 226.7 square kilometers.
During the period of Japanese puppet rule, it was tangshancheng village in Anton County; in August 1985, it was changed to tangshancheng town; in January 2000, the division of Dandong City was adjusted and assigned to Zhen'an District. By the end of 2018, the population of Tangshan town registered residence was 19301. As of June 2020, Tangshan town has nine administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Tangshan was 6745 yuan. In 2018, there were 22 industrial enterprises in Tangshan town, including 3 above scale and 46 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the period of Japanese puppet rule, it was tangshancheng village in Anton county.
In 1945, after the surrender of Japan, Tangshan city was built, belonging to Anton county.
In the spring of 1948, Tangshan city was divided into Fengcheng county.
In October 1950, it was changed to District 13.
In February 1951, Tangshan District was abolished and merged into Bianmen District, which was renamed the first district.
In January 1956, the Bianmen district was abolished, and the villages under the jurisdiction of Tangshan City were divided into five townships directly under Tangshan City, Yushulin, Taiping, Shi'an and Longhe counties.
In May 1957, the border gate district was restored to five townships directly under the jurisdiction of the border gate district.
In May 1958, Bianmen district was abolished, and five townships were merged into Tangshan urban and rural areas; in September of the same year, Tangshan urban and rural areas and Bianmen Township were merged to form Zhaoming commune.
In 1961, Zhaoming commune was divided into Bianmen commune and Tangshan commune.
In September 1983, it was rebuilt into Tangshan urban and rural area.
In August 1985, it was changed into Tangshan town.
In January 2000, Dandong City was divided into Zhen'an District.
