Yanwu Street
Yanwu street, subordinate to Wanghua District, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of the people's Government of Wanghua District. It is adjacent to guchizi street in the East, Tayu town in the south, Lishi street in the West and putun street in the north. Its total area is 8.4 square kilometers. At the end of 2011, the total population of Yanwu sub district was 4613.
In March 1953, Yanwu Street residents committee was established. On April 13, 1957, SHEWO street was merged into Yanwu street. In May 1960, fuyanwu, Wulao and Guchengzi were merged into Guchengzi commune. In July 1962, Guchengzi commune was divided into Guchengzi commune, wulaotun commune and Yanwu commune. In 1966, Yanwu commune was renamed Yaowu commune. In November 1968, Yaowu commune was renamed the Revolutionary Committee of Yaowu commune. In 1974, the Revolutionary Committee of Yaowu commune was incorporated into the Revolutionary Committee of Guchengzi commune. In October 1978, the Revolutionary Committee of Yaowu commune was changed to Yanwu street. As of June 2020, Yanwu sub district has jurisdiction over 11 communities and 3 administrative villages, and the sub district office is located at 42 Yanwu street, Xiaonangou community.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Yanwu street was 37.1515 million yuan.
Historical evolution
In May 1908, the administrative office of Xingren County in Fengtian Prefecture was moved from Shenyang City to Fushun City. In the same year, Xingren county was renamed Fushun County, with 8 districts and 6 townships. Among them, dayanwugou and xiaoyanwugou belong to a township of Fushun County, fengtianfu, and are located in Tayu.
Xuantong three years (1911), set up a town, six districts, Township Reform District, dayanwugou, xiaoyanwugou are fengtianfu Fushun County District.
In August 1931, Fushun County was divided into eight districts. The main village under the jurisdiction of the district was dayanwugou village, while xiaoyanwugou village was the sub village, and the sub village was the subordinate village of the main village.
On February 1, 1935, the Japanese puppet government implemented the new village system. The main village was the nominal name, the deputy village was the real name, the dayanwugou and xiaoyanwugou were the deputy villages, and the Wulao village was the main village.
On December 1, 1937, the Japanese puppet regime divided counties and cities, and the great Yanwu Valley and the small Yanwu Valley belonged to Wulao village.
In the middle of November 1945, Fushun Municipal government led by the Communist Party of China was established, and Wanghua District government was set up in the west of Fushun City. Dayanwugou and xiaoyanwugou were assigned to Wanghua District.
On November 3, 1948, the residents committee of Yanwu street and the people's Government of SHEWO village were established.
On March 7, 1949, dayanwugou, Tayu District, Fushun County, was assigned to Wanghua District.
In March 1953, Yanwu Street residents committee was established.
On April 13, 1957, SHEWO street was merged into Yanwu street.
In May 1960, fuyanwu, Wulao and Guchengzi were merged into Guchengzi commune.
In July 1962, Guchengzi commune was divided into Guchengzi commune, wulaotun commune and Yanwu commune.
In 1966, Yanwu commune was renamed Yaowu commune.
In November 1968, Yaowu commune was renamed the Revolutionary Committee of Yaowu commune.
In 1974, the Revolutionary Committee of Yaowu commune was incorporated into the Revolutionary Committee of Guchengzi commune.
In October 1978, the Revolutionary Committee of Yaowu commune was changed to Yanwu street.
In August 1986, Yanwu became one of the 10 streets under the jurisdiction of Wanghua District.
In 1999, Yanwu village, xiaoyanwu village and Wudao village were assigned to Yanwu street of Wanghua District.
On July 1, 2004, Wanghua business park was officially launched. Yanwu street has become one of the eight sub district offices under the jurisdiction of the district.

On December 9, 1954, Yanwu Street abolished 36 neighborhood committees and established seven streets, including Yanwu and SHEWO.
By the end of 2011, Yanwu street had jurisdiction over three residents' committees, namely Xiaonangou, thermoelectricity and Qinghu, and three villagers' committees, namely dayanwu, xiaoyanwu and Wudao, with 75 residents' groups and 8 villagers' groups.
As of June 2020, Yanwu sub district has jurisdiction over 11 communities and 3 administrative villages, and the sub district office is located at 42 Yanwu street, Xiaonangou community.

Yanwu street is located in the hilly area, the terrain is high in the South and low in the north. The southwest of Yanwu street is connected with the hilly area. On the western edge, there is Yanzi mountain, which is formed by stripping and accumulation of western open pit mine, with an altitude of 166.2 meters.

At the end of 2011, Yanwu sub district had a total population of 4613, including 4562 urban permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 98.9%. In the total population, there are 2370 males, accounting for 51.38%; 2243 females, accounting for 48.62%; 260 persons under 14 years old, accounting for 5.6%; 3289 persons between 15 and 64 years old, accounting for 71.3%; 1064 persons over 65 years old, accounting for 23.1%. In the total population, 4340 people (94.08%) are Han nationality, and 273 people (5.92%) are Manchu, Hui, Korean, Mongolian, Yao and Buyi.
