Zhangdang street, belonging to Dongzhou District, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Dongzhou District. It is adjacent to Zhangdang town and Baiqi town of Tieling City in the East, Dahuofang Reservoir in the south, Guanling village of QianDian town of Shuncheng city in the west, Menjin village of QianDian town of Shuncheng City in the north, and manlu township of baiqizhai, Tieling County, Tieling City. Its total area is 31.2 square kilometers. At the end of 2011, the total population of Zhangdang sub district was 33638.
On October 31, 1948, after the liberation of Fushun City, xiazhangdang village belonged to Zhangdang District of Fushun County. In March 1960, the people's Committee of Zhangdang town was abolished and the Zhangdang commune of Fushun City was established. In August 1978, Zhangdang street was changed and xintaihe was put under Nianpan township. At the end of December 2002, Zhangdang economic development zone belongs to Dongzhou District. In 2004, Zhangdang street, Dongzhou District was established. As of June 2020, Zhangdang sub district has jurisdiction over 6 communities and 2 administrative villages, and the sub district office is located in Tianhu community of Zhangdang sub district.
In 2011, the total revenue of Zhangdang street was 2.27 million yuan. The total industrial output value reached 364.06 million yuan, and the industrial added value was 40.43 million yuan, accounting for 72.8% of the GDP. The sales revenue was 325.76 million yuan, and the total amount of industrial profits and taxes was 22.49 million yuan.
Historical evolution
On October 31, 1948, after the liberation of Fushun City, xiazhangdang village belonged to Zhangdang District of Fushun County.
On March 27, 1956, xiazhangdang village was abolished and Zhangdang street was established, which belongs to the open air area of Fushun City, including Xintai street and Zhangdang street.
In October 1957, the people's Committee of Zhangdang District of Fushun City was established. Zhangdang street was divided into four streets: Zhangdang, reservoir, power plant and Xintai.
In June 1959, Zhangdang district was abolished as an open-air District, and the people's Committee of Zhangdang town was established.
In March 1960, the people's Committee of Zhangdang town was abolished and the Zhangdang commune of Fushun City was established.
In August 1978, Zhangdang street was changed and xintaihe was put under Nianpan township.
In May 1999, Zhangdang street was assigned to Fushun County, and the Management Committee of Zhangdang Economic Development Zone in Fushun City was established. Zhanghan village and Zhangxian village in Fushun County were assigned to the development zone. In December of the same year, the first and second communities of Fudong street were included in the development zone.
At the end of December 2002, Zhangdang economic development zone belongs to Dongzhou District.
In 2004, Zhangdang street, Dongzhou District was established.

In December 2008, 10 communities of Zhangdang street were merged into 6 communities, among which the original cement plant community was merged into thermal power community, the original shuishuiku street community was merged into Tianhu community, the original Xianqiao community was merged into grain depot community to the west of Jingjiang Road, the East into Hexi community, and Fudong community 1 and Fudong community 2 were merged into lifudong community.
On October 10, 2011, Zhangdang Street governed Zhanghan and Zhangxian 2 administrative villages and 6 communities of Liaodian Hedong, Liaodian Hexi, Tianhu, thermal power, grain depot and Fudong.
At the end of 2011, Zhangdang street had jurisdiction over six residents' committees of Liaodian Hedong, Liaodian Hexi, Tianhu, thermal power, grain depot and Fudong, and two villagers' committees of Zhanghan and Zhangxian.

The highest point is located in Dongshan of yaozhan group, Zhanghan village, with an altitude of 198.7m; the lowest point is located in the west of Zhangdang bridge, Hunhe River, with an altitude of 89.7m.

There are very few natural disasters in Zhangdang street. Only once occurred on July 29, 1995. It was hit by the worst flood in a century. More than 1600 households were affected by the disaster. 37 households' houses were destroyed. 5 kilometers of roads, 700 meters of extended railways, 1 bridge and more than 20 fish ponds were destroyed, resulting in a direct economic loss of more than 1 million yuan.
