Chagou town

Chagou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Haicheng City, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Haicheng City. It is adjacent to Gushan town in the south, Yingkou City in the southwest, Yingluo town in the west, pailou town in the north and Ximu town in the northeast, with an administrative area of 141 square kilometers.

In October 1958, Chagou commune was set up, which was classified as Ximu commune; in 1984, Chagou commune was changed into Chagou township; in 1990, Chagou township was changed into town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Cha Gou town was 25173. As of June 2020, Chagou town has 15 administrative villages.

In 2011, Chagou town's total financial revenue was 12.589 million yuan. The local fiscal revenue was 5.659 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 5025 yuan. In 2018, Chagou town had 9 industrial enterprises and 63 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In October 1958, Chagou commune was set up, which was under the jurisdiction of analymu commune.

Chagou commune was established in March 1961.

In 1984, Chagou commune was changed into Chagou township.

In 1990, Chagou township was transformed into a town.
