Shimiaozi town
Shimiaozi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northern edge of Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Fengcheng City by Laoyeling in the East, huanghuadian town by Qinghe River in the south, Yaoshan town and Sanjiazi town by shihuading in the west, and Liaoyang City by gudongling in the north, with an administrative area of 200.03 square kilometers.
In February 1946, the shimiaozi District Committee of Qingchengzi County of the Communist Party of China was established; in 1959, the Shimiao and Shimian operation areas were abolished, and nine production teams from Qingyang to Shimian were established, belonging to huanghuadian commune; on June 27, 1985, the system of shimianzi Manchu Township was abolished, and shimianzi town was set up. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Shi Miao Zi town was 16842. As of June 2020, shimiaozi town has nine administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of shimiaozi town was 11.56 million yuan. The local fiscal revenue was 8.33 million yuan. In 2018, there were 36 industrial enterprises in shimiaozi Town, including 3 above scale enterprises and 32 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In February 1946, the shimiaozi District Committee of Qingchengzi county was established.
In December 1948, the original Qingchengzi county was divided and Xiuyan Stone Temple District Office was established.
In March 1949, the government of shishimiao district was changed to shimiaozi.
In 1959, the stone temple and asbestos operation areas were abolished, and nine production brigades from Qingyang to Shimian were established, belonging to huanghuadian commune.
In March 1961, the asbestos production brigade was abolished and divided into three production brigades: Lanjia, Huangjia and Gudong.
On March 1, 1956, it was divided into two townships: Yulin and Shimian.
In 1958, shimiaozi township was merged into huanghuadian Township, and there were shimiaozi, Shimian and Xibao three major operation areas in shimiaozi, belonging to huanghuadian commune.
On May 31, 1984, shimiaozi Manchu Township was built.
On June 27, 1985, the system of shimiaozi Manchu Township was abolished and shimiaozi town was set up.

By the end of 2011, shimiaozi town had nine administrative villages: Shimian, T-shaped Valley, qingyangbao, xingxinggou, shimiaozi, Dagou, Shifo, dongqingtaiyu and xiqingtaiyu, with 78 villager groups.
As of June 2020, shimiaozi town has nine administrative villages: qingyangbao village, xingxinggou village, Dagou village, Shifo village, dongqingtaiyu village, xiqingtaiyu village, dingziyu village, Shimian village and shimiaozi village. The people's Government of shimiaozi town is located in Shunchang Road, shimiaozi village.

Shimiaozi town is high in the north and low in the south, with undulating mountains and river valleys. The highest peak, shihuading, is located in the village of danaogou, with an altitude of 887.7 meters.

Shimiaozi town has a temperate monsoon climate, with cold and long winter and hot and short summer, with rainfall concentrated in July and August; less rain and windy in spring, long dry period, strong wind and strong evaporation; less rainfall and lower temperature in autumn. The river course in shimiaozi town belongs to the upper reaches of the whistler River Basin, of which qingtaiyu river basin covers an area of 201 square kilometers. From Shimian village to Qingyang village, it flows through dingziyu, xiqingtaiyu, dongqingtaiyu, Shifo, shimiaozi, Xingwang village, etc.
