Wulu town
Wulu town is located in the east of Zhuanghe City, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, with 122 ° 59 ′ 59 ″ - 123 ° 14 ′ 16 ″ E and 39 ° 41 ′ 03 ″ - 39 ° 51 ′ 57 ″ n. It is the only way from Dalian to Dandong. It borders qingdui town in the East, the Yellow Sea in the south, Heidao town and Landian Township, Daying Town in the north and Xuling town and Landian Township in the West. The town is 16.8 kilometers wide from east to west and 14 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 173.71 square kilometers. The total population is 34369 (2017). Wulu town is a township under the jurisdiction of Zhuanghe City. In 1961, the British martyrs' commune was established. In 1983, it was established as a township. In 1987, it was renamed Wulu township. It is located in the east of the city, 10 kilometers away from the city government and close to the Yellow Sea in the south. It covers an area of 90.6 square kilometers and has a population of 21000. National Highway 201 runs from east to west. After the second liberation in 1947, the Yingna River was divided into two administrative regions, one is Xiaogushan District Office, the other is Wulu district office. In April 1956, the whole county merged with the District, removed Wulu district and Heidao District, and put them under the leadership of Xiaogushan district. In 1957, the government of Xiaogushan district was replaced by the government of Xiaogushan Township, and the three townships of Qiaoshang, yinglieshi and Guanghua were removed under the jurisdiction of Wulu township government. In September 1958, the people's commune was established and the government and the commune were integrated. Daying and Wulu were put under the jurisdiction of Xiaogushan commune. In September 1961, Xiaogushan people's commune was divided into four years: Xiaogushan, yinglieshi, Daying and Heidao. In 1997, yinglieshi township was renamed Wulu town. On January 3, 2000, the township of Zhuanghe City was merged with Wulu town to form the people's Government of Wulu town of Zhuanghe City.
The town is 16.8 kilometers wide from east to west and 14 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 173.75 square kilometers. The landform of the town is a low mountain and hilly area with "one water, two mountains, three mountains and four Plains". There are many rivers in the town, with Yingna River passing through the edge of the town, so the water resources are abundant. At present, the area of cultivated land is 130000 mu, the per capita cultivated land is 3.5 mu, the forest land is 82665 mu, and the forest coverage rate is more than 40%.
