Xinghaiwan Street
Xinghaiwan street, subordinate to Shahekou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Shahekou District, with the original Xinghaiwan street and the original Baishan road street as the new street area, with an administrative area of 10.36 square kilometers.
On November 29, 2019, Baishan road street and the original Xinghaiwan Street will be abolished, and Xinghaiwan Street will be re established, with the original two street areas as the new street area. By the end of 2019, the population of Xinghaiwan street is 108800. As of June 2020, Xinghaiwan street has jurisdiction over 17 communities, and its sub district office is located at No. 19, Xinghai 1st Street, Xingnan community.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Baishan road street was 250 million yuan, an increase of 53.7% over the previous year; the total financial revenue of Xinghaiwan street was 660 million yuan, an increase of 191.3% over the previous year.
Historical evolution
Original Baishan Road Street
In 1905, after the Russo Japanese War, the area of Baishan road was occupied by Japanese invaders. At that time, it belonged to Shahekou station of dongzhouting, the puppet pass.
In 1947, the local government was established in LvDa, which belongs to Shahekou District, and Yuhua and minyun two square offices were established.
In June 1953, the two square office was changed into a neighborhood committee.
In September 1954, the residents committee of the 2nd Street was changed to the 2nd Street.
In July 1958, Yuhua street was merged into the Democratic Movement street.
In April 1960, the streets of the democratic movement were transformed into the communes of the democratic movement.
At the end of August 1960, according to the system of one district and one community, the commune was established in Shahekou District, and the Democratic Movement commune was changed into the Democratic Movement branch.
In March 1963, the branch of the democratic movement was divided into the street of the democratic movement and the street of Baishan road.
In September 1968, Baishan road street was changed into Yongjun Street Reform Committee.
In September 1969, the Revolutionary Committee of Yongjun neighborhood was changed into the Revolutionary Committee of Yongjun commune.
On March 8, 1978, the Revolutionary Committee of Yongjun commune changed to Yongjun street.
In August 1980, it was renamed Baishan road street.
In 1987, Baishan road street was divided into Baishan road street and Lianhuashan Street (joint office).
Original Xinghaiwan Street
In 1905, after the end of the Russo Japanese War, Xinghai area was occupied by Japanese invaders and belonged to the puppet guandongzhou hall.
On August 15, 1945, it was liberated and put under xinggepu district.
In 1946, Dalian county was established. Xinghai district was assigned to Xiaoping Island district. After the revocation of Xiaoping Island District, it was assigned to Shahekou District, belonging to Heishijiao street.
In December 1990, some areas separated from Heishijiao street were set up as Xinghai street.
In October 2003, Xinghai street was renamed Xinghaiwan street. All the former Fuguo street, Laizhou Committee, Longjiang Committee, Lianshan Committee, Xinghai Committee and Southwest Road Committee of Xinghai street and New Hope Square East of Xi'an road of Nansha street form Xinghaiwan street.
In 2006, Fubin community was renamed Xinghai Square community.
In 2006, Jianxin hope community was established.
After the merger
On November 29, 2019, according to the reply of Dalian Municipal People's Government on Approving the adjustment of administrative divisions of some streets in Xigang District, it is decided to cancel Baishan road street and the original Xinghai Bay Street, and re establish Xinghai Bay Street, with the original two streets as the new street area, and the neighborhood office is located at No. 19 Xinghai first street.
