Xiushuihezi Town, belonging to Faku County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Faku County, adjacent to Shuangtaizi Township in the East, dengshibaozi town in the south, yemaotai town in the west, and woliushi Township and baojiatun town in the north, with an administrative area of 204 square kilometers.

Xiushuihezi town used to belong to Kaiyuan County; in 1991, xiushuihezi township was changed into a town. By the end of 2018, 31681 households registered residence in Xiushui River town. As of June 2020, xiushuihezi town has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in xiushuihezi village.

History of construction

Hezi town of Xiushui used to belong to Kaiyuan county.

In 1906, it was put under the jurisdiction of Zhili Hall of Faku.

In 1923, it belonged to the seventh district of Faku.

In September 1958, spark commune was established.

In September 1959, it was renamed Xiushui Hezi commune.

At the end of 1983, it was changed to Hezi township of Xiushui.

In 1991, Hezi township of Xiushui was transformed into a town.
