Li Xiang Street

Lixiang street, belonging to Hunnan District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Hunnan district. It is connected with Zhujia street in the East, Sujiatun District in the south, Taoxian street in the West and Yingchengzi street in the north, with a total area of 42 square kilometers.

In 1958, Li Xiang commune was established; on November 1, 2007, Li Xiang town was abolished and Li Xiang street was changed. At the end of 2011, the total population of Lixiang street was 15900. As of June 2020, Lixiang sub district has jurisdiction over 32 communities and 4 administrative villages, and the sub district office is located in houlixiang community.

History of construction

In 1958, Li Xiang commune was established.

In 1983, Li Xiang's commune was transformed into a township.

In 1996, Li Xiang changed his hometown into a town.

At the end of 2002, the seven villages of Yongan, Baohe, Sunjiazhai, shangshuiquan, Xiashuiquan, Yuanke and Nanling in Guchengzi town belonged to Lixiang town.

On November 1, 2007, Li Xiang town was abolished and Li Xiang street was changed.

In June 2010, Sunjiazhai, Baohe and Yong'an villages were assigned to Yingchengzi street.

At the end of 2011, gaobazhai and duanjiagou communities in Lixiang street were assigned to Zhujia street.

On June 20, 2018, gaobazhai, duanjiagou and Yong'an communities of Zhujia sub district office were assigned to Lixiang sub district. Therefore, the present Lixiang street is located in Baiye community of Zhujia street in the East, douziyu village of yaoqianhu street of Sujiatun District in the south, nanshamiaozi community of Taoxian street in the West and Yingchengzi community of Yingchengzi street in the north.
