Mantang Street
Mantang street, belonging to Hunnan District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Hunnan District, bordering gaowanzi, Fushun City in the East, Gaokan street in the southeast, Hunhe River in the South and Huishan street, Shenbei New District in the north. It covers a total area of 72.7 square kilometers, including 67.8 square kilometers of land, accounting for 93.3%, and 4.9 square kilometers of water, accounting for 6.7%.
Before 1962, it was a village; at the end of 2006, it was transformed into Mantang street. In 2018, Yingda street was abolished and the original administrative jurisdiction of Yingda Street office was merged into Mantang street. In 2019, Wangbin Street will be abolished and its jurisdiction will be divided into Mantang street. At the end of 2011, Mantang street had a total population of 21420. As of June 2020, Mantang street has jurisdiction over 34 communities, and its sub district office is located in Mantang community.
In 2011, the total revenue of Mantang street was 14 million yuan, an increase of 10.9% over the previous year. The national tax revenue is 8 million yuan and the local tax revenue is 6 million yuan.
History of construction
Before 1962, it was a village.
In May 1962, Mantang commune was established, belonging to Huishan livestock farm.
In October 1982, Mantang commune was transformed into Mantang township.
In September 1984, it was changed to Mantang Manchu Township.
At the end of 2006, the township was transformed into Mantang street.
In 2018, Yingda street was abolished and the original administrative jurisdiction of Yingda Street office was merged into Mantang street.
In 2019, Wangbin Street will be abolished and its jurisdiction will be divided into Mantang street.

Mantang street is located in hilly areas, the terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The highest peak in the territory is located in Qipan mountain, 265 meters above sea level, which is the remaining vein of Changbai Mountain; the lowest point is about 10 meters above sea level.

History and culture
Mantang street was named burengou because the head of King Tabai, the sixth son of Nurhachi, was buried here in the early Qing Dynasty, and his fifth grandson, yuderui, was here to guard the tomb of his great grandfather. In the third year of Xuantong (1911) of the Qing Dynasty, the number of Manchu people in this area increased. It was renamed mantanggou because of the prosperity of Manchu people and the auspiciousness of their children and grandchildren.
