Jilantai town
Jilantai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Alxa Left Banner, Alxa League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north central part of Alxa Left Banner, on the edge of Ulan Buhe desert. It is adjacent to bayanmuren Sumu, WuSitai economic development zone and zongbieli town in the East, BAYANHOT town in the South, bayannurigong Sumu in the west, wulijisumu and fanglunbula town in the north, with an administrative area of 12386 square kilometers.
In 1815, there were two bages, Bayan Wula and Jilantai. In 1970, it was changed to Jilantai town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Gillan town was 16972. By June 2020, Jilantai town has jurisdiction over 5 communities and 25 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Jilantai town was 220 million yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year. The local revenue was 138.4 million yuan, an increase of 22.84% over the previous year. History of construction
In 1815, there were two bages, Bayan Wula and Jilantai.
In 1959, 2 bages merged into bayanjilantai commune (changed to Sumu in 1983).
In 1970, it was changed to Jilantai town.
In 1995, Bayan jilantaimu was incorporated into Jilantai town.
In June 2006, Xilin Gaole town and Bayan Hongge RI (including the former Hongge RI Erleng Sumu) Sumu were merged into Jilantai town.

Jilantai town is located in the narrow zone between Ulanbuhe desert and Jilantai Salt Lake, which is distributed in the north-south direction.
