Ganhezi Town, subordinate to Wusu city in Tacheng area of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Wusu city, adjacent to Nanyuan street in the East, Xidagou town in the south, Baiquan Town in the West and Xihu town in the north, with a total administrative area of 245.63 square kilometers.

History of construction

In 1954, Ganhezi township was established, belonging to two districts.

In May 1958, it was the Ganhezi brigade, belonging to Dongfeng commune.

In 1972, Dongfanghong commune was established.

In 1978, it was renamed Ganhezi commune.

In October 1984, it was changed to Ganhezi township.

In December 1998, the township was removed to build a town.
