Zhongchuan town
Zhongchuan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Huining County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Huining County, north of Huajialing, east of xintianbao Hui Township and houjiachuan Township, south of Tongwei County, west of Dingjiagou Township, north of Huishi Town, with a total administrative area of 138.3 square kilometers.
Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Zhongying township government; in 1983, it was changed to Zhongchuan township. In 2015, Zhongchuan Township moved from township to town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Nakagawa was 16421. In June 2020, Zhongchuan town governs one community and 10 administrative villages.
The main food crops in Zhongchuan town are wheat, corn, buckwheat, millet, potato, etc.; the main animal husbandry is chicken, pig, sheep and cattle. In 2018, there were 11 industrial enterprises in Zhongchuan Town, including one above scale and six comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Zhongying township government.
After 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of two districts (Zhongchuan).
In 1958, Zhongchuan commune was established.
In 1983, it was changed to Zhongchuan township.
In 2015, Zhongchuan Township moved from township to town.

In 1988, the site was listed as a county-level cultural relic protection unit by Huining County People's government. In December 2011, it was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit by Gansu Provincial People's government.
Laoyagou site is located in the hillside of the east of laoyagou village, Zhongchuan town. It is 150 meters long from east to west and 300 meters wide from north to south, with a total area of about 40000 square meters. In 1991, the site was listed as a county-level cultural relic protection unit by Huining County People's government.
