Xinjing Township, subordinate to Tongwei County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Tongwei County, adjacent to Jingning County in the East, Qin'an County in the south, Jichuan town in the West and Longshan Township in the north, with an administrative area of 105.42 square kilometers.

By the end of 2018, 11746 people had registered residence in New Town, and 13 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of new town in June 2020.
