Binzhou was once one of the four ancient towns in the history of Guangxi. The famous South Street is located in Binzhou, Binyang County (now Luwei town). Huang's courtyard is an outstanding representative of the ancient architectural art of South Street. This ancient house, with a total area of more than 560 square meters, was built by Huang Yuhui, the ancestor of Huang family. The courtyard is divided into four parts: the first and second part is the living room, the third part is the main hall, and the fourth part is the backyard. 1、 Two, three into three, three patios inlaid with bluestone will be connected. On the left and right sides of the hall, there is a long and straight corridor made of blue brick, which leads to all parts of the house. There are five living rooms and houses in each corridor, which are used for lodging and receiving guests in the order of male left female right, senior and junior. Behind the partition wall of the hall is Huang's backyard, which is equipped with kitchen, workshop, warehouse and clothes drying yard. The door between the halls is made of high-quality wood. The door is carved with the words "flowers bloom and wealth", "bamboo for peace" and "Ruyi and auspicious", as well as the patterns of flowers and birds and square wooden windows. The eaves on the roof are high, and its architectural style is unique and novel, which reflects the style of Huang family officials and scholarly families.
