Minle township is under the jurisdiction of Baiquan County. Located in the middle of the county, the northeast is adjacent to Baiquan Town. The township government is 9 kilometers away from the county seat. During the period of northeast occupied by the Japanese, it was under the jurisdiction of Shizhong village in Baiquan County. After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, it was subordinate to Shizhong District. In March 1956, Minle township was set up instead of regionalized township. In September 1958, it merged with Leye Township and established Minle people's commune. In December 1981, because of the large scope of the commune, Minle commune was divided into two communes: Zhongle commune and Minle commune. At the beginning of 1984, the government and the society were separated and changed into a happy home for the people.

Minle township has rolling hills and Shuangyang river passes through the northern region. The total area of the township is 136 square kilometers, including 118000 mu of cultivated land. It mainly grows corn, soybean, wheat, flax, beet, etc. Township industry has iron wood processing plants. The township governs 12 villages, including Minle, Xingfa, prospect, Minquan, Xinsheng, Gongnong, Zhenxing, Changsheng, Baoan, Xinle, Limin and Yixin. Minle township of Baiquan County covers an area of 136 square kilometers. At the end of 1992, the total population of the township was 18000, of which the population of Manchu and other ethnic minorities accounted for about 2% of the total population. The township government is located in Minle village.
