Shengshui Town
Shengshui Town belongs to Nanzheng District, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the east of Nanzheng District, adjacent to shangyuanguan town of Chenggu County in the East, Erli town of Chenggu County in the south, hujiaying town in the west, Hanjiang River in the north and Pu town of Hantai District across the river. Its total area is 65.86 square kilometers.
In Shengshui Town, there are Shengshui temple, a provincial cultural relic protection unit, Miyan temple, a municipal cultural relic protection unit, and Niangniang mountain, a Buddhist holy land.

Historical evolution
It is named after Shengshui temple, an ancient temple in the town.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of qilishangba in the Eastern District of the county.
In 1947, it belonged to Lingquan Township, the second district.
After October 1949, it became Nanhua Township, Shengshui Township and Majiazui commune in Lengshui district.
In 1996, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, Shankou township was merged into Shengshui Town.
In 2001, Hongguang township was incorporated into the city.

Shengshui Town is located in the southwest of Hanzhong Basin. Most of the town is hilly and plain. The terrain is high in the South and low in the north. It is ladder shaped. The Hanjiang River surrounds the northwest of the town, with an altitude of 484-716 meters.

The river in Shengshui Town belongs to the Hanjiang River system, a tributary of the Yangtze River. There are three reservoirs, Donggou, Qiligou, lianhuashi and lenghuiqu.
