Juela Township
Cuona County, Shannan City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs the township and five administrative villages, namely luodui village, Juela village, zhadong village, nianzha village and Deji village. The township government is stationed in Juela village.

Historical evolution
Juela Township and zhadong Township were established in 1959, and they were transferred from Longzi county to Cuona County in June 1962. In 1970, it was changed to commune and in 1988 to township. It has 16 village committees, including luodui, cunba, Lexi, Rongju, Jiangzhu, riwang, jiarumei, Duobu, shangxue, Xuexue, tiru, Lao, shangpangga, zhongdiga, xiadiga and Menda. In 1996, Juela Township had a population of about 35000, including 16 administrative villages of luodui, cunba, Lexi, Rongju, Jiangzhu, riwang, jiarumai, dobu, shangxue, Xuexue, Deru, Lao, shangpangga, zhongdiga, xiadiga and Menda; zhadong Township had a population of about 17000, including 8 administrative villages of Dui, beiri, Xuexue, gabutonqu, kaoer, Zhuomai, Deji and jiangmu. In 1999, zhadong township was abolished and merged into Juela township.
