Laduo township is located in the high altitude area in the northeast of karuo district. It is one of the pure animal husbandry townships in karuo district. The eastern and southeastern parts of the township are connected with ziga Township, Jiangda County, Tibet, the southern part with Tuoba Township, the western part with Chaiwei Township, and the northern and northeastern parts with mianda Township and Shengda Township, Jiangda county. It covers an area of 1401.65 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 25 administrative villages and 71 natural villages (villagers' groups). The township is located in high altitude and cold area (average altitude is 4100m), with vast Alpine natural grassland. It is the largest pure animal husbandry Township in karuo District, with the charm of snow.
