Peach and sappan
Taohemu Sumu, belonging to Horqin right-wing Front Banner of Xing'an League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Horqin right-wing Front Banner. It is adjacent to aledersumu in the East, Baoshi town in Tuquan County in the south, xizhelimu Sumu in Horqin right-wing Middle Banner in the West and wulanmaodu Sumu in the north. The area of peach tree is 1127.72 square kilometers, and by the end of 2018, the registered residence population was 4867.
In 1957, it was built pasture, originally belonging to Ulan Maodu sappan; in 1984, it was designated as Jiantao Hemu sappan. As of June 2020, taohemu Sumu has one neighborhood committee and six Gacha.
In 2017, there were 22 taohemu Sumu enterprises with 120 employees; in 2018, there were 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

The main rivers in taohemusumu are Halahai River and Wushen Yihe River, among which Wushen Yihe River is a seasonal river with a flow length of about 9 km; the annual runoff is 100 million cubic meters, the annual drainage is 15 million cubic meters, and the annual maximum drainage is 20 million cubic meters.
natural disaster
The main natural disasters of peach and sappan trees are flood, freezing, snow and so on. The most serious flood disaster occurred from July to the end of September 1998, and the roads were destroyed. The snow disaster mainly occurred from October to February of the next year. The most serious one occurred in the snowfall in 2010. Continuous snowfall caused the shed collapse and road blockade. The average depth of snowfall reached 60 cm.

History and culture
The origin of place names
"Taohemu" in "taohemu" means "saddle pad" in Mongolian. It is said that Genghis Khan went hunting here in the 13th century and left the saddle cushion here. Later, when he took the saddle cushion, he named it "taohemu" in memory of this place.
