Taiben town
Taibenzhan Town, belonging to Wulanhaote City, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Wulanhaote City, bordering zhalaid banner and Zhenlai County, Baicheng City, Jilin Province in the East, Taobei District, Baicheng City, Jilin Province in the southeast and south, Taobei District, Baicheng City, Jilin Province in the southwest, gegenmiao town in the West and Horqin right-wing Front Banner in the north. Taiben town area area is 1104 square kilometers, and by the end of 2018, the registered residence population was 3749.
In 1946, nutuk (township level regime) was established; in 1948, nutuk (township level regime) was merged into silifen Township, known as Gacha (Village); in 1962, taibenzhan commune was established; in 1984, taibenzhan township was changed; in September 1999, taibenzhan township was changed into town; in April 2006, it was merged into gegenmiao town; in December 2010, taibenzhan town was established. In June 2020, taibenzhan town governs three administrative villages.
In 2017, there were 5 enterprises and 45 employees in Taiben town; in 2018, there were 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Taiben town.
In July 2020, taibenzhan town was named as the National Health township of 2017-2019 cycle by the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee.
Historical evolution
In 1946, nutuk was established.
In 1948, it was incorporated into silifen Township, known as Gacha (Village).
In 1955, it was put under the jurisdiction of julifen township.
In 1956, it was put under the management of Wulanhada township.
In 1962, Taiben commune was established.
In August 1969, it was transferred to Baicheng city.
On September 22, 1979, it was put under Horqin Right Wing Front Banner and became Taiben station commune.
In 1984, it was changed to Taiben township.
In September 1999, the township of Taiben station was transformed into a town.
In April 2006, it was incorporated into gegenmiao town.
On February 3, 2008, Horqin Right Wing Front Banner was transferred to Ulanhot city.
In December 2010, Taiben town was set up.
