Wulanhada Town, belonging to Wulanhaote City, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north central part of Wulanhaote City. It borders Horqin Right Wing Front Banner in the East, gegenmiao town in the southeast and south, Horqin Right Wing Front Banner across the river in the southwest, suburban street and yilelit town in the west, and yilelit town in the north. In 2018, the area of Ulan hada town was 360.78 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 18823.
Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was called Ulan hada nutuk; in 1932, Horqin right-wing Front Banner was changed to Xike Front Banner; in 1958, Ulan hada commune was established, belonging to Horqin right-wing Front Banner; in 1984, it was changed to Ulan hada Sumu; on September 24, 1996, it was changed to Ulan hada town. In June 2020, Ulan hada town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 14 administrative villages.
