Guangyilong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner, adjacent to tieshagai town in the East, Huangyang town and datan Township in the south, kuluntu town in Siziwang Banner in the West and gongjitang town in Siziwang Banner in the north, with an administrative area of 538.06 square kilometers.
After October 1949, it belonged to the former Wudong County; in May 1984, guangyilong commune was transformed into a township. By the end of 2018, 17891 people registered residence in Guangyi town. As of June 2020, guangyilong town has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen in guangyilong town was 2480 yuan. In 2018, there were 2 industrial enterprises and 9 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in guangyilong town.
History of construction
After October 1949, it belonged to Wudong county.
In May 1958, Wudong county was abolished and assigned to Chayouzhong banner, and guangyilong township was set up.
In September 1958, Hongyuan commune was established.
In June 1959, it was renamed guangyilong commune.
In May 1984, guangyilong commune was transformed into a township.
In December 2005, huashanzi, Wuhao and guangyilong were merged into guangyilong town.
