Mawu Town, subordinate to Min County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Min County, bordering Yanghe township of Wushan County in the East, Qiushan township of Li County in the south, Suolong Township in the West and Yan'an township of Wushan County in the north, with an administrative area of 157.98 square kilometers.

History of construction

In 1949, Mawu township was set up, belonging to Mayan district.
In 1958, Mayan commune was established.
In 1961, it became Mawu commune in Lujing District, and then divided into Mawu commune and Shajin commune.
In 1969, the two communes merged into Mawu commune.
In 1983, it was changed to Mawu township.
