Huangmaoying Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Chahar Right Wing Front Banner, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Chahar Right Wing Front Banner, bordering national unity township of Xinghe County in the East, wulaha Wula Township in the south, bayintala town in the West and meiguiying town in the North, with an administrative area of 342.41 square kilometers.
In November 1951, it belonged to six districts of Jining County; in November 1957, it belonged to four districts of chayouqianqi; in May 1984, huangmaoying commune was changed to township. By the end of 2018, 19171 households registered residence in Huang Mao Ying township. As of June 2020, huangmaoying has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages.

History of construction
In November 1951, it belongs to six districts of Jining county.
In November 1957, it was assigned to the Fourth District of chayouqianqi.
In 1958, it belonged to baganur commune, and the commune was stationed in huangmaoying.
In March 1962, Huang Maoying commune was established.
In May 1984, Huang Maoying commune was transformed into a township.
In November 2006, seven villages in bayintala Town, including Xiying, xiaonaoer, danaoer, Chagan, Nanyao, daiqing and jingzigou, were assigned to huangmaoying.
