Xijingzi town
XIJINGZI Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shangdu County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Shangdu County, adjacent to tunkendui town in the East, Qitai town in the south, tumuertai town in Chahar right wing rear banner in the west, and Zhurihe town in Sunid Right Banner of Xilin Gol League in the north, with an administrative area of 519.68 square kilometers.
After October 1949, it was divided into three districts of Shangdu county. In May 1956, XIJINGZI township was established. In August 2006, Dalazi Township and gehuasitai Township were merged into Xijingzi town. By the end of 2018, the population of Xijing Zi town registered residence was 36617. As of June 2020, Xijingzi town has 31 administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Xijingzi town was 3000 yuan. In 2018, Xijingzi town had 16 industrial enterprises and 9 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
After October 1949, it was divided into three districts of Shangdu county.
In May 1956, XIJINGZI township was established.
In August 1958, Dongsheng commune was established.
In June 1984, Dongsheng commune was transformed into a township.
In July 2001, the township was transformed into a town.
In August 2006, Dalazi Township and gehuasitai Township were merged into Xijingzi town.

Xijingzi town is located in a shallow hilly area. The terrain is gentle in the South and undulating in the north. The main mountains are qingshinaobao mountain and Mahuang mountain. The highest peak of qingshinaobao mountain is located in the northeast of XIJINGZI Town, with an altitude of 1650 meters. The lowest point of Mahuang mountain is located in the southwest of XIJINGZI Town, with an altitude of 1550 meters.

The underground mineral deposits in Xijingzi town include limestone, iron concentrate powder, magnesium metal, silica granite, iron stone and kaolin.
