Historical evolution
At the beginning of the 20th century, about 60 families and 260 people of the Oroqen tribe living in the bila River Basin in the upper reaches of the GNI River moved to chuoer River, Jiqin River and amuniu river basins for hunting in order to survive and develop new hunting areas, that is, the shallow mountain area at the eastern foot of the Great Xing'an Mountains, which began to attract people in this area. In 1939, the puppet Manchukuo forced more than 300 people from more than 50 Daur and Mongolian families living in Nehe, Longjiang and other counties of Heilongjiang Province to move to the middle reaches of the Aniu River (20 kilometers away from nanmu) and set up village offices under the direct jurisdiction of the puppet butha banner. The next year, the Middle East Railway set up a temporary station in nanmu. From then on, the Oroqen people, who lived in the depth of dense wood and were almost isolated from the world, began to associate with the Daur people who lived in amuniu.
