Alihe Town, belonging to Olunchun Autonomous Banner of Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is the residence of Alihe Forestry Bureau and people's Government of Olunchun Autonomous Banner, a large-scale state-owned second grade forest industry enterprise. History of construction
In 1958, the government of Olunchun Autonomous Banner moved from xiaoergou (now NOMIN town) to Ali River.
In March 1959, Ali River town was established.
On April 1, 1959, Alihe Forestry Bureau was established.
On August 1, 1969, Olunchun Autonomous Banner was under the jurisdiction of Daxing'anling region of Heilongjiang Province, and then Alihe town was under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province.
On July 1, 1979, Olunchun Autonomous Banner was re assigned to Hulunbuir League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Alihe town was re assigned to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region with Hulunbuir League.
In 1983, qiqiling township was built in the eastern part of Ali River town.
In 1990, qiqiling township was abolished, qiqiling village was transferred back to Alihe Town, and other areas were transferred to Daxing'anling area for management.

By the end of 2011, Alihe town had 5 communities and 4 administrative villages: Ping'an, Qingshan, Kangning, Linhai Dongfeng, Alihe, Adong, qiqiling and Kunlun Mountains; 154 resident groups and 27 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Alihe town has five communities and four administrative villages: Ping'an community, Qingshan community, Kangning community, Linhai community, Dongfeng community, qiqiling village, Kunlunshan village, Alihe village and Adong village. The town people's government is stationed in Ping'an community.
