Yilong Yongzhen
Yilongyong Town, belonging to Naiman Banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Naiman Banner, bordering huanghuatalasumu in the East, sharihaolai town in the south, Xiawa town and xinwopu town in Aohan banner of Chifeng City in the west, and daqintala town in the north. The area is 322.46 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 20982 people registered residence in Yilong town.
In October 1958, Hongguang commune was established. In 1959, it was renamed yilongyong commune. In May 1983, it was changed into Yilong water town. In March 2000, yilongyong township was changed into yilongyong town. In January 2001, yilongyong town and Taihe Township were merged into yilongyong town. As of June 2020, yilongyong town has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 61 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in yilongyong town.
Historical evolution
In the early years of the Republic of China, it belonged to Han three districts of Naiman Banner.
During the Japanese puppet period, it belonged to shalihaolai village and halagai village successively.
In the 35th year of the Republic of China (1946), the western region was established at the beginning, and was once under the leadership of Xindong County, the 21 division of the re Liao border region of the Communist Party of China.
In February 1947, he returned to Naiman Banner.
In September 1948, it was changed into two districts.

Yilongyong town is located between Gobi like desertification swamp in the South and sand dune in the north, on both sides of Jiaolai River, with gentle terrain, high in the South and low in the north. The terrain is divided into sandy swamps in the south, small sand dunes in the north and Jiaolai River alluvial plain in the middle. The highest peak is in the south of dayingzi village, with an altitude of 500 meters; the lowest point is in the north of nongchang village, with an altitude of 382 meters.

Yilong Yongzhen River belongs to Liaohe River Basin, the largest river is Jiaolai River, which runs through the whole territory from southwest to northeast, with a total length of 25 kilometers and a drainage area of 25 square kilometers.

The main natural disasters in yilongyong town are drought, flood, hail, frost and so on. Drought occurred once a year, mainly from March to September, the most serious occurred in the spring of 2004, and 60% of the cultivated land could not be sown in time; the most serious flood occurred on July 16, 2004, when 13 villages along the Jiaolai River were hit by the flood in the upper reaches of the river, with 44600 mu of crops and 26800 mu of dead crop area, and destroyed a wooden bridge on the Jiaolai River, resulting in a direct economic loss of 11.01 million yuan; The annual average number of rainstorm and hail disasters is 2-3, mainly from June to September. The most serious one occurred on June 1, 2005.
