Balihan town
Balihan Town, belonging to Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Ningcheng county. It is adjacent to dashuanmiao town in the East, dianzi town in the south, Wangyedian town in Kalaqin banner in the west, and sanjiaodian Township in the north. It is 60 kilometers away from Ningcheng county government, with a total area of 373 square kilometers.
In the early days of liberation, it belonged to the third district of Ningcheng county. In September 2006, Reshui town was merged into Balihan town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the eight towns was 41148. In 2019, Balihan town governs 29 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Balihan village. In 2018, there were 47 industrial enterprises in Balihan Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
On October 14, 2016, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development announced the list of the first batch of small towns with Chinese characteristics, among which Balihan town became the only Chifeng town on the list.
History of construction
In the early days of liberation, it belonged to the third district of Ningcheng county.
In 1956, Balihan township was built.
In 1958, it was changed into Balihan commune.
In 1968, it was called the Revolutionary Committee of Balihan commune.
In 1983, it was changed to Balihan township.
In April 1984, Balihan township was transformed into Balihan town.
In September 2006, Reshui town was merged into Balihan town.
