Jiangjia town
Jiangjia Town, subordinate to Banan District of Chongqing, is located in the east of Banan District, adjacent to Yilong town in the south, tianxingsi town and Ersheng town in the west, and Dongwenquan town in the northeast. It is 59 kilometers away from the people's Government of Banan District, with a total area of 80.36 square kilometers.
In the late Qing Dynasty, jiangjiachang was set up as a township administrative division, and in December 1993, it was changed from jiangjiachang to jiangjiazhen. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Jiang Jia town was 20690. As of June 2020, Jiangjia town has one community and seven administrative villages, and the people's Government of Jiangjia town is located at No. 7 Mishi street.
In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Jiangjia town.
History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, jiangjiachang was set up as a township administrative division.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), jiangjiachang was changed to jiangjiali; in the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), Jiangxiang was set up in the Qing Dynasty, under the jurisdiction of Taihe District. In 1941, it was changed to Jiang's hometown.
In 1958, Jiang's hometown was rebuilt into Jiang's commune.
In February 1959, Jiang's commune was changed into Jiang's management area.
In December 1960, the Jiangjia administrative area was changed into Jiangjia commune.
In 1967, the Jiangjia commune was renamed Dongsheng commune.
In 1970, Dongsheng commune was changed into Jiangjia commune.
In 1982, Jiang's commune was changed into Jiang's hometown.
In December 1993, Jiang's hometown was changed into Jiangjia town.
In 2001, baihetang township was merged into Jiangjia town.
