Sanzhen town

Sanzhen Town, subordinate to Jiaoling County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, is located 10 kilometers south of Jiaoling County. It is connected with Jiaohua Management Area of Meizhou City in the East, Xinpu town in the south, Dongshi town of Pingyuan County in the West and Changtan town in the north. The total area is 96 square kilometers. Sanzhen town has a subtropical monsoon climate with mild climate and abundant rainfall. By the end of 2018, three Zhen Zhen had 17237 registered residence population. As of October 2019, Sanzhen town has jurisdiction over one community and nine administrative villages.

It's said that there are three canals flowing through the place. When the county was established in the late Ming Dynasty, it was called Zhaofu Township, and its jurisdiction included Jiaoling overseas Chinese farm in Meizhou city.
