Honghe town
Honghe Town, belonging to Qingshuihe County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Qingshuihe County. It borders on yangyanggou township of Helingeer County in the East, Chengguan town in the south, Dalu town of Zhungeer banner in Ordos City across the Yellow River in the West and Lamawan town in the North. It is 26 kilometers away from Qingshuihe County, with a total administrative area of 262.47 square kilometers.
In May 1950, the first district was set up in wanggui kiln. In June 2005, wangguiyao and wuliangtai were merged into Honghe town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Honghe town was 12812. In 2019, Honghe town governs 10 administrative villages.
In 2018, Honghe town had 31 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters; in the same year, Honghe town was included in the list of demonstration construction of strong agricultural towns in 2018.
History of construction
In May 1950, the first district was set up in wanggui kiln.

In 1958, wangguiyao commune was established.
In January 1959, wangguiyao management area was changed to Lamawan commune.
In 1980, wangguiyao commune was established.
In 1984, wangguiyao commune was changed into wangguiyao township.
In June 2005, wangguiyao and wuliangtai were merged into Honghe town.

In 2011, Honghe town has 18 administrative villages and 140 natural villages, including yuanziwan, Yijianfang, fansiyao, shashaoye, huoshaoye, jiaonimoo, Jiefang, batuye, gaomaoquanyao, jubaozhuang, changhangou, lamamiao, wuliangtai, spinach camp, qingdougou, baiqiyao, kangshengzhuang, and No. 30 feihao.
In 2019, Honghe town has 10 administrative villages, including yuanziwan village, Yijianfang village, fansiyao village, gaomaoquanyao village, batuye village, Jiefang village, jiaonimao village, huoshaoye village, zhashaoye village and jubaozhuang village.
