Beihan Township, located in the south of Renqiu City, Hebei Province, covers an area of 51.2 square kilometers.
Historical evolution
Beihan commune was established in 1958, and Beihan township was changed in 1982. In 1997, the population was 26000. Northern Han Dynasty: according to unearthed cultural relics, zhahan village was built during the Jianwu period of the Han Dynasty. When the village was built, there was a large area of water in the north, so it was named Beihan. Later, it was changed to the northern Han Dynasty. Nanguozhuang: in the early Qing Dynasty, there were two brothers surnamed Guo who moved from Majiawu village to live there, named Guozhuang. It was renamed nanguozhuang in December 1981. nanlangzhuang: during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, a family surnamed Lang moved from wangjiawu to build the village. The village was named Langzhuang. In 1961, it was divided into two villages. Because the village was in the south, it was named nanlangzhuang. xiaolizhuang: the village was built in the late Ming Dynasty. Some people moved from Dalizhuang to build the village here, so it was named xiaolizhuang. Ximazhuang: the village was built in the Ming Dynasty, where five horse provinces lived first, so it was named Mazhuang and later called Ximazhuang. Liu Jiapu: the village was built in the early Qing Dynasty. A family surnamed Liu came here to build a shop, so it was named Liujiapu. hou Jie Jing: the village was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. When the village was built, there was a pit in the street, named jiekeng village. Later, he called Biejing village. It was changed to Jiejing village.
