In 2019, Shuangquan town governs one community and eight administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Shuangquan village.

History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the general manager of East bukhart.
In 1913, it was the Fourth District of Nehe county. In the fourth year of the Republic of China (1915), Keshan set up the Administration Bureau; in July of the same year, it was assigned to the third district of Keshan County. In 1929, it was put under the jurisdiction of dedu, and in 1930, it was put under the jurisdiction of the fourth district. In March of 1933, it was classified as the fifth Northern District insurance. In March 1938, it was changed to Beihe village. In March 1946, it was changed to Beihe district. In June 1949, it was renamed the second district.
In April 1956, the second district set up three townships: Shuangquan, Shengli and Tuanjie.
In September 1958, it was incorporated into Qingshan commune and became Shuangquan management area.
In April 1961, Shuangquan commune was established. In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In November 1983, Longquan and Shilong were assigned to Wudalianchi town.
In March 2001, Longfeng and Longtou villages in Chengguan Township were included.
In October 2008, Shuangquan township was changed into Shuangquan town.
