Tieshan township is located in the north of Nanping Municipal Administration and county, Fujian Province, connecting Chengyuan Township in the East, waitun Township in the south, Xingxi Township in the southwest, Songxi County in the northwest and Qingyuan County in Zhejiang Province in the northeast, with a total area of 225 square kilometers. The territory is a strip-shaped terrain, tilted from the peak of xianglujian in the northeast to the southwest. It is divided into three regions: high mountain, semi high mountain and valley plain. Meilong river runs through the western part of the territory, and forms an "eight" shape with Lexi, which passes through the northeastern part of the territory. It has a mid subtropical climate. The extreme maximum temperature is 39 ℃, the extreme minimum temperature is - 8.6 ℃, the annual average temperature is 17.9 ℃, and the annual average precipitation is 1700mm. The Daoxiang Anxi highway in the township runs from south to north to Anxi village of Qingyuan County, from lingyao extension to Jinping, and from Tieshan extension to the county lead zinc mine. Xianglujian (1598 meters above sea level) in the township is the highest peak in the county. 170 holes of Yinkeng and 18 pits of gold, iron and tin in Jinping, jiuzhanqiu in the ancient battlefield of Huangchao uprising, Huguo temple and zhusen tomb in Fenglin Village are all places of interest.
