Xinchengzi town
Xinchengzi Town, belonging to Linxi County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Linxi County. It is adjacent to Daban Town of Balinyouqi in the East, Wufendi town of Wengniute Banner in the south, wanheyong town of Keshiketeng Banner in the West and Xilamulun River in the north. The area is 613 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 19006 people registered residence.
In December 1958, Xiaochengzi commune was established. In February 1984, it was changed into Xiaochengzi town. In May 1986, it was renamed Xinchengzi town. As of June 2020, Xinchengzi town has 12 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 41 industrial enterprises in Xinchengzi Town, including 3 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 21 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
Xiaochengzi was a small city in Liao Dynasty. After Jin Dynasty destroyed Liao Dynasty, it was abandoned. After reclamation, it was named Xiaochengzi after the ancient city site.
After liberation, it was also called Xiaochengzi district.
In December 1958, Xiaochengzi commune was established.
In February 1984, it was changed into Xiaochengzi town.
In May 1986, it was renamed Xinchengzi town.
In December 2005, xiachang and shuangjingdian were merged.

The people's Government of Xinchengzi town is located in Shuangjing village.
