Zhenxing Street
Zhenxing street, belonging to Yanliang District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the west of Yanliang District. It is adjacent to Fenghuang road in the East, Beitun street in the south, Xuyang street in Lintong district across Qinghe River in the southwest, Dacheng town and Xumu Township in Sanyuan County of Xianyang City in the west, and Lucun Township in Fuping County of Weinan City in the north, with a total area of 31 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Zhenxing street has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 12 administrative villages. In 2011, the total population of Zhenxing street was 25555, the total agricultural output value was 240 million yuan, the total industrial output value was 285.68 million yuan, the total sales of social goods was 4.4 million yuan, the added value of financial industry was 28.706 million yuan, and the balance of various deposits was 740 million yuan.
Historical evolution
The origin of place names
Formerly known as Tan family commune. Because of the same name as Tan Jia commune in Weiyang District of Xi'an City, it was renamed Zhenxing township.
History of construction
Jidian town was set up in the Northern Song Dynasty.
During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, there were "three Town fortresses" (now three Town fortresses in Zhengjia Village). During the reign of Qianlong, Wendian town was set up in the east of sanzhenbao, Dayou town in the West and Wannian town in the south.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was under the jurisdiction of Yanliang Town, Lintong county.
After 1949, it was Yanliang's sixth, seventh and eighth townships.
In March 1956, it was incorporated into Yanliang township.
In September 1958, it was the first and second administrative districts of Yanliang commune and Yanliang administrative district.
In January 1961, Yanliang District was changed into Yanliang commune.
In July 1964, 83 production teams were set up from Yanliang commune, and another Tanjia commune was set up.
In 1966, the community moved to Zhengjia village.
In March 1984, because of the same name as Tanjia commune in Weiyang District of Xi'an City, the commune was changed to Zhenxing Township when it was changed to township.
On August 11, 1987, it was under the jurisdiction of Yanliang District.
In January 2002, Zhenxing township was abolished and Zhenxing street was established.

Zhenxing street is located in the west of Yanliang District. It borders Fenghuang road in the East, Beitun street in the south, Xuyang street in Lintong district across Qinghe River in the southwest, Dacheng town and Xumu Township in Sanyuan County of Xianyang City in the west, and Lucun Township in Fuping County of Weinan City in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 5.4 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 8.2 km, covering a total area of 31 square kilometers. The land area is 30.6 square kilometers, accounting for 99.8%; the water area is 0.4 square kilometers, accounting for 0.2%. It is 2km away from the district government.

Zhenxing Street lies on Jingyuan in the north, Qinghe in the south, and the terrain is high in the north and low in the south. In the northern part of the territory, Jingyuan is a sloping land, while the central and southern parts are plains. The highest point is located in Longyou village, Zhenxing street, 483.2 meters above sea level; the lowest point is located in Qinghe, 366.5 meters above sea level.

Zhenxing street has a warm temperate semi humid monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is 13.6 ℃, the annual average precipitation is 556.4 mm, and the frost free period is 220 days.
Water system hydrology
Zhenxing street belongs to the Weihe River system of the Yellow River Basin. The area of the river is about 4.5km from the ancient minzhang River and Qinggu river.

The main natural disasters in Zhenxing Street are drought, flood, continuous rain, strong wind, diseases and insect pests, earthquake, etc. Drought is the most serious disaster in the territory, and a hundred day drought occurs every three years on average. From 1949 to 2011, the most serious drought occurred in Zhenxing street from October 7, 1963 to April 23, 1964. The drought lasted for 155 days, the precipitation decreased by 62% compared with the normal year, and the grain yield in summer and autumn decreased seriously. Since 1949, the most serious hail disaster occurred on May 23, 1969. Guanliu, muzheng, Qinghe, Xinnong, Minhe and other villages were hit by 40 minute hail. The hail was as big as walnut. All the farmland touched by the hail was destroyed, the wheat yield was seriously reduced, and the houses and trees were severely damaged.
