Tabusi Township, belonging to tumetzuo banner, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of tumetzuo banner. It is adjacent to beishizhou Township in the East, Gucheng town of Tuoketuo County in the south, shandai town in the west, and beishizhou Township and chasuqi town in the north, with a total area of 146.47 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the top 3 of the right wing of Tumet banner; in 2006, Tiemao township was merged into tabsai township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the village was 27091. In 2019, there will be 21 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of tabsai Township, and the people's government will be stationed in tabsai village. In 2018, there were 5 industrial enterprises and 15 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in tabsai township.
In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name tabsai township as a national health township for the 2017-2019 cycle.

In the early period of the Republic of China, it was adjusted to the top five of the left wing. In 1946, it became the fifth autonomous Supervision Office of tumed special banner.
In 1950, it was changed into the 5th District Office of tumed banner.
In October 1953, tabuzi township was established.
In 1958, when the commune was established, it belonged to Wulan commune.
In 1961, tabuzi commune was established.
In 1964, tabuzi commune was renamed tabsai commune.
In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
In 2006, Tiemao township was merged into tabsai township.

History and culture
Tabussai township is named after the township government's residence in tabussai village. Tabsai, Mongolian, means five good. In the early years of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, there were immigrants from Yuci, Daixian and other places in Shanxi Province with surnames of Nan, Guo, Ma and Ning, and a local Mongolian family formed a village with five surnames. It was named tabuzi and later changed to tabsai, which is still in use today.
