Jinsha Township, located in the southeast of Pingguo County, Guangxi Autonomous Region, is a new immigrant Township, formerly known as Sitang poverty alleviation and development zone. In February 1998, it was established as a township with the approval of the people's Government of the autonomous region.

Jinsha township of Guangxi autonomous region is located in the southeast of Pingguo County, with a total area of 60.95 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of 7 villager committees, 37 villager groups, 1633 households and more than 8900 people. Jinsha township is a new immigrant Township, and the resettlement work started in 1994. In 1997, Guangzhou and Yulin helped to build Jinsha foreign land development zone, formerly known as Sitang poverty alleviation and development zone. In February 1998, it was established as a township with the approval of the people's Government of the autonomous region.
Geography
Jinsha township is located in the south of the Tropic of cancer, affected by the subtropical monsoon climate, high temperature and rainy, dry and wet alternation is obvious. It is a hilly terrain of Tuling. The soil type is yellow red soil weathered by sand shale. The soil layer is deep, and it is suitable to plant fruits. Laijiang river flows through the township about 15 km long. Due to the large water level drop, two private hydropower projects are under construction. With convenient transportation, it is 9.8km away from 324 National Highway and 32km away from the county. There are three-level oil roads between urban and rural areas and four level roads between villages. There are two collective enterprises in the township, of which the annual output value of tea factory is 350000 yuan and that of water plant is 420000 yuan.
Abundant resources
Jinsha Township takes advantage of convenient transportation and rich natural resources to establish demonstration bases of longan, grape, mili, sweet carambola, pobuguo, tea and sisal, vigorously develop fishery and animal husbandry, and actively introduce high-quality peach, "Xiaojingsheng" peanut, improved sugarcane, star anise, mulberry and Longjing tea seedlings for industrial restructuring, so as to drive the economic development of the township. The fruit planting area of the township is 7958 mu, including 298 mu of grape planting area, with an annual output of 250000 kg; 2810 mu of longan planting area, 810 mu of production, with an annual output of 203000 kg; 8254 mu of improved varieties of sugarcane, 25600 tons of raw sugarcane, with an output value of 4224000 yuan; 1260 mu of Fuyun No. 6 and Lingyun Baihao tea, with an annual output of 150000 kg of tea. The gross national product is 34.758 million yuan, of which the gross agricultural product is 23.015 million yuan. The per capita net income of immigrants has increased from 524 yuan in 2000 to 1056 yuan, and the fiscal revenue is 550000 yuan. taking advantage of the historical opportunity of Counterpart Assistance in Guangzhou, the township resettled a total of 6 700 poor farmers from 1341 households in 9 townships (towns) including Chengguan, Xin'an, Pozao, Taiping, yewei, Duiwei, Guohua, Jiucheng and Haicheng. In 2002, with the help of Guangzhou and all walks of life, it invested 1.6 million yuan to build a new resettlement village in Nalong, and resettled 426 people from 100 families in Guohua town. Covering an area of 12000 square meters, the new village has built 100 houses with two bedrooms and one living room, complete with biogas digester, kitchen, patio, pig and cattle pen. The average housing area is 86 square meters, the average productive land is 16 mu, and the "three links" of water, electricity and road have been realized, which has become a successful example of the resettlement project in Baise.
Social situation
Jinsha township economy and social undertakings have made great progress. 183 km of Huanshan road and 41 km of TunJi road have been completed. A 5-span Jinsha bridge has been built, 25 km of the fourth grade road has been built, and a 9.8 km asphalt road has been built. Three pumping stations have been built, with a water pipe network of 16900 meters. 30 km of transmission lines have been connected, and 99% of the farmers have completed the rural power grid transformation. Eight sets of closed-circuit television have been installed. Program controlled telephones have been set up in the township government and nearby residential areas, and the infrastructure has been improved This project has achieved the goal of connecting every village with roads, broadcasting and television, and using sanitary water for every household. 1450 steel concrete structure flat top immigration houses with an average housing area of 32m2 have been built; 6 teaching sites have been built with 33 teachers and 666 students; each village has a steel concrete flat top office building of 150m2 each; the township government has a farmer's market covering an area of nearly 1000 square meters; 8 clinics of 304m2 have been built with 6 doctors and nurses, and all kinds of medical equipment have been continuously improved, with 7 in the township The new rural cooperative medical system has been established in all villages, and more than 80% of the people in the township participate in the rural cooperative medical system.
