Shuangfeng town belongs to Baihe County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southwest of the county, adjacent to Maoping town in the northeast, Songjia town in the East and south, ChiYan town in Xunyang city in the west, and Xiying town in the north. Historical evolution
It was Xixiang in Qing Dynasty.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was Heji Township in the western district.
In October 1949, it belonged to the Fifth District of Baihe democratic county government.
In May 1950, it belonged to five districts with jurisdiction over three townships; in December of the same year, it belonged to six districts.
In April 1953, six districts were changed into seven districts and Xinglong Township was added.
In October 1955, seven districts were changed into Shuanghe district.
In March 1956, it belonged to Xiying district. Guandi and Liushu merged to establish Shuanghe township. Xinglong Township merged into Yan township.
In October 1958, Xiying commune was established.
In August 1961, Shuanghe and Xinglong districts merged to establish Shuanghe commune.
In August 1962, nine production brigades were set up from Shuanghe and Xinglong commune was established.
In December 1964, it was a newly established Xiying district.
In May 1984, Xinglong commune was changed into Yan hometown.
In November 1996, Shuanghe Township and Yan Township merged to form Shuanghe township.
In May 2011, Shuanghe township was transformed into Shuangfeng town.
