Longtou town

Longtou Town, subordinate to Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, is the center town and key industrial town of Guangdong Province. It is one of the pilot towns of 500 small town construction planning in China. It is located in the northeast of Potou District, with a total area of 113.39 square kilometers (2017) and a total population of 63734 people (2017). It has superior geographical location, rich natural resources and good industrial foundation. Longtou town is 32 kilometers away from Zhanjiang City. National Highway 325 and provincial highway 286 meet in the town. It's only 30 minutes' drive from Longtou town to Zhanjiang Xiting airport, railway station and Zhanjiang customs. Longtou town is rich in water resources, with Zhanjiang gancun reservoir, the only drinking reservoir in Potou district.
