Xijiao Township
Xijiao Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Jiguan District, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the west of Jiguan district and the South Bank of Muling River. It is adjacent to Jidong County in the East, Hongxing Township in the south, Liumao Township in Hengshan District and Muling River in the north. The administrative area is 46.30 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 12190 people registered residence in the western suburbs. As of October 2019, six administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of western rural areas.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Xijiao township was 96.45 million yuan, an increase of 35.9% over the previous year, and the per capita net income of farmers was 140.57 yuan. In 2018, there were 21 industrial enterprises in Xijiao Township, including 4 large-scale enterprises and 19 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1934, it belonged to Jixi street.
In 1941, it belonged to Jining County, Jixi street, Dong'an province.
In April 1948, it belonged to Jiguan district.
In July 1950, it belongs to the second district.
In September 1955, it belonged to Jiguan district office.
In November 1956, it belongs to liangjiajie township.
In September 1958, it belonged to Dongfeng commune.
In August 1966, it belonged to Hongwei commune.
In September 1968, it belonged to Hongxing commune, and in 1976, it belonged to Dongfeng commune.
In 1983, Xijiao township was established, with jurisdiction over Taiyangsheng, Dongsheng, Zhongxing, xijixi, Xinfa, Liangjia, Tuanjie and Sanhe villages.
In 2002, Taiyangsheng village and Dongsheng Village merged into Dongjiao Village, and xijixi village and Zhongxing village merged into Xijiao village.
