Shangying town

Shangying Town, subordinate to Lufeng City, Shanwei City, Guangdong Province, is located in the southwest of Lufeng City and in the lower reaches of Luohe River. It faces Donghai town across Luohe River in the East, Yangang in the west, Chikeng town and Dahu town of Haifeng County, Tanxi town in the north and Nanhai town in the south, with a coastline of 12 km. The total area is 50.6 square kilometers. In late 2018, the registered residence of the town was 34764. As of June 2020, Shangying town has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages.

In 1952, it belonged to Yingfu township of the new three districts. In the winter of 1986, the district was withdrawn and the township was built. In 1992, it was changed from township to town. The culture of Shangying town includes orthographic play, shadow play and metal carving.

In 2018, there are 26 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Shangying town.
