Xinghua town is located at the north foot of Xionger mountain in the southwest of Luoning County, Henan Province. In 2009, Xinghua town changed from township to Xinghua town. Xinghua town is 120 kilometers away from Luoyang City and 32 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total area of 187 square kilometers. Surrounded by mountains, Xinghuayu is wide in the South and narrow in the north. It looks like a gourd, commonly known as huluyu. Xinghua commune was established in 1958, and the township was changed in 1984.
